Startnext Projekt unterstuetzen: "Sonic Drei"

Ziel ist die Erarbeitung eines eigenen Repertoires aus speziell fuer diese Besetzung komponierten Stuecken, die Entwicklung eines homogenen Bandsounds mit dem Ideal einer rein akustischen, kammermusikalischen Spielweise und anschliessende Aufnahme des erarbeiteten Materials am 2, 3 und 4. August 2011 in den legendaeren Aufnahmesaelen der ehemaligen Studios des staatlichen Rundfunks der DDR in Berlin, Studio P4.

Startnext ist eine Crowdfunding Plattform zur Projektfinanzierung, Kulturfoerderung und Vermittlung zwischen Projektunterstuetzern und Projektstartern.

Let's get back to where it all started: the radio show: well it took some time (almost exactly 3 years), but this weekend I actually managed to mix a nice jazz set. I'm pretty sure that there won't be a new mix every month, but I will try to do one every now and then (I promise, it won't take 3 years!).

Hope the set will be on-line somewhere within the next few days....

THE Hi-FLY ORCHESTRA at the Atomic Cafe, Munich.

Blame Eyjafjalla for not seeing Miriam Aida on Saturday night at Munich's Atomic Cafe. But even without the brilliant voice from Sweden, who enchanted the Atomic's audience last year, Florian Riedl and the rest of the Hi-FLY crew made the Atomic rock!
I, for one, always enjoy Chris Gall's authentic and colourful Rhodes interpretation of this Jazz sound. Absolutely worth listening to.
